To kickstart this year’s festivities, Amber Lounge will host a prestigious Charity Gala Dinner with Sir Jackie Stewart OBE and friends from the F1™️ racing community at the Raffles Singapore. Held on Thursday, 19 September, the glamorous event is in support of Race Against Dementia — a global charity launched by the former world champion racing legend in 2014 and supported by Formula 1™ to raise awareness of and funds for dementia research. “When Helen, my wife of over 60 years, was diagnosed with dementia, I learned that nothing could be done,” shares Sir Jackie. “There is no cure and no real treatment available. I am determined to change this in my lifetime.”
Guests attending the Charity Gala will enjoy a sumptuous gourmet dinner, free flowing beverages, a fashion showcase of the latest collection launch of Lontessa by New Zealand-born, Singapore-based designer Tessa Lont, and the opportunity to bid at auction for some highly exclusive F1™️ related experiences and collectibles. These include a 2N all-inclusive stay for up to 12 guests (6 suites) at the ultra-luxurious ÀNI Private Resort in Sri Lanka worth US$50,000 or a priceless weekend stay at Sir Jackie’s home in the UK, inclusive of a pair of return business class air tickets from Singapore — and the experience of attending the Goodwood Revival racing festival via private helicopter together with Sir Jackie himself. Only one Diamond Suite is available each night (price upon request), offering a spacious and luxurious private suite for those who prefer the utmost discretion and the ultimate bespoke hospitality package at Amber Lounge. Other luxe suite offerings include Amber Suites (starting from $45,000++) where guests can look forward to caviar, unlimited Perrier Jouet Blanc de Blanc champagne, Don Julio Reposado, specialty cocktails and other premium beverages, all within the privacy of their suite.
